Yes, but the artist could have drawn a female in the foreground or a female instead one of the males to avoid confusion. It's clear the other male lion was drawn there by mistake. But I don't wan't to comment further more. Besides that mistake this is a funny and well drawn illustration.
No problem. I'm not so religious either, but my mother used to read a story from the Bible every night when I was young. And the part with the creation of or planet,and the flood have always been my favorites.
Yes, any predator is classified as unclean, but who's counting. Art isn't always about what is real. No one left the ark until it was on dry ground but that would defeat the everyone jumping overboard theme which I love, by the way. But maybe the lions were gay?
